1.1 - Keep your ratio at 0.50 or higher, failing to do so will get you a warning. Stretch for a ratio of 1 or above.
1.2 - Do not upload NHLtorrents caps to other trackers! Cappers can release else where if they wish, any one asking the cappers if they can release else where will be banned
1.3 - Do not PM the staff about warnings unless there's actually been a mistake, doing so might net you another warning.
1.4 - Do not use a cheating bittorrent client, you will be banned immediately when caught. See the forum thread for what clients are allowed.
1.5 - Any member is only allowed ONE account. Anyone holding multiple accounts risk severe punishment, including ban.
1.6 - Spamming, advertisements, disruptive behaviour, or listing of other sites is NOT permitted.
1.7 - Don't hit & run, torrents need seeding even though you've completed your download.
1.8 - After 3 warning your account will be disabled. We allow disabled members to ask and state the reasons why they broke the rules in the Disable Account Cases in the forum.

| Uploading rules |

2.1 - No rars, zips or any other archive file. This is becuase archived torrents die very quickly as no one keeps the the torrent is rar format after downloading and seeding has finished.
2.2 - No duplicate material.
2.3 - No PC or Console games of any kind.
2.4 - Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 24 hours or until there are some seeds to replace you.
2.5 - Include the match date in the torrent name.
2.6 - All releases must be Ice Hockey related.
2.7 - No low quality files of any type unless its a stream cap, and no short clips or low quality photos.
2.8 - Don't upload more torrents than you can reasonably seed. No one wants ten none seeded torrents, up one and actually seed that instead.
2.7 - Don't use full stops as spaces, or have the whole name in caps or any other sort of "fun" ********+++++++++++----------+++.

| Forum, Shoutbox and IRC Channel Rules |

3.1 - Don't ask for caps or when a cap will appear, look at the Cap Calender.
3.2 - No spoiling of games by posting the score, who scored or anything that happened in the game. Use the spoiler threads at the forum.
3.3 - Don't post comments about no seeder or about poor speed. The comment field is for thanking the cappers.
3.4 - Don't moan about quality of the caps if you're not happy with them come back with a higher quality one of your own, don't moan about it to us.
3.5 - Don't post links or images to/ from nhl.com in the forum, shoutbox, comments or in PMs as they can see where you're redirected from.
3.6 - No aggressive behaviour or flaming in the forums, if you can't behave like an adult, don't bother posting.
3.7 - No trashing of other people's topics (i.e. SPAM).
3.8 - No links to warez or crack sites in the forums.
3.9 - No serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks in the forums.
3.10 - No meaningless bumping of threads, adding "yeah, lulz" to a thread that's been dead for months isn't wanted... (All bumped threads will be deleted.)
3.11 - No double posting. If you wish to post again, and yours is the last post in the thread please use the EDIT function, instead of posting a double. If replying to multiple posts, use multiple quotes in your post instead of one post per reply.
3.12 - Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section! (eg; Game questions in the Game section, Apps questions in the Apps section. etc.)
3.13 - Last, Please read the FAQ before asking any questions!

| Moderating rules |
4.1 - Don't be afraid to say NO!.
4.2 - Be tolerant! give the user(s) a chance to reform.
4.3 - Don't act prematurely, Let the users make their mistake and THEN correct them.
4.4 - Try correcting any "off topics" rather then closing the thread.
4.5 - Move topics rather than locking/deleting them.
4.6 - Be tolerant when moderating the General Discussion section (cut them some slack).
4.7 - If you lock a topic, give a brief explanation as to why you're locking it.
4.8 - Before banning a user post information on what the member has done in the Mod forum.
4.9 - Don't ban a user until you have discussed with TMLeafs.
